Deviation Actions
As you may have noticed I haven't been very active running this group. I'm running it alone and I mostly just concentrate on accepting/declining submissions to the galleries. Wallpapers aren't really my thing as such, I just make a lot of my own images in wallpaper sizes/ratios so that it feels okay to post them in this group.
Making the images in my own gallery is very time consuming, not to mention all the 3D work I do not post at DA, and leaves me with limited time/energy/interest for administration of a group.
It looks like I might be pretty occupied this summer, so I may have troubles keeping up with the group. Remains to be seen.

The drop down menu with submission folders has been very messy. So I went and deleted the "Archived wallpapers" and all its sub folders to clear it up. Sorry, but I couldn't see another way to do that.

Since I never use the featured folder, I have now opened it for submissions. ONE exception though. Mature rated images can still only be submitted to the "Pinups and Mature Rated content" folder.

Expired submissions to the group
I haven't been around much, so there was some submissions that had expired. My apologies for that, but DA is very low on my list of priorities at present.
I'll try to catch the submissions in time, but no promises.

Closed submissions to Featured
I opened the Featured folder for submissions some time back, but it doesn't seem to be working and there's been little interest for it, so I changed it back. As far as I recall, I approved all submissions to Featured.
Guess I have to try to request works for it at some point, but I rarely do things like that :)
Well, it has been a slow summer for the group and submissions are down to a trickle.
If you have some folder wishes, let me know.

EDIT:
I was going through folder permissions and noticed they were messed up. Many folders were marked not to allow submissions. Sorry about that, I had not noticed it, but I can't fix things
New folder
I have added a new folder called "OS themes and Icons". You can submit things related to desktop themes there. Most wallpaper groups seem to have folders for them.
Another recent change is that you can now submit images to the "Featured" folder. Mature rated images still belong in the "Pinups and Mature Rated content" folder.
As you may have noticed, we lost Super Group status a few months ago. It didn't seem worth paying for, because you don't get much else than a more fancy looking journal.

Small changes
Dear Members,
I have made some minor changes to the gallery folders. Renamed the folder for Pinups and Mature rated images. Also renamed Fractals folder to "Fractals and Abstracts". Most Fractal art has an abstract nature so I think they go well together. There is perhaps a bit much going into the Miscellaneous folder with the current folder structure, so I'm trying to change that a bit.
We could perhaps add a few folders?
A few things that come to mind would be a folder called "Drawn and Painted" and perhaps one for "Desktop themes".
What do you think? Should we have some more folders?

Peter.... Your decision to run it yourself is on you... I OK or not OK submissions everyday on a regular basis ........ BUT if there are no submissions to OK (in the admin section) then My help is not there. I wondered why I click on the OK-ing section and there is nothing ever there!
