Hello Everyone!!
Spring is almost here!!!
The features for the month of March are now posted and can be viewed from the slide show on home page or in the "Featured Folder". Congratulations to all that are featured this month.
Beginning this month there is going to be some changes in the folders. You will see all 3D works going into one folder and some folders may be taken out and new ones added. I will personally be going through each folder to eliminate the images that are not a wallpaper resolution or is not acceptable.
REMEMBER!
Do not post an image if it is not downloadable. This group is for wallpapers to be downloaded and used my the members of this group. If you do not make it downloadable, then it will be declined. If you see that it was declined, please make it downloadable and then we will accept.
"ALL'' wallpapers must meet standard monitor resolutions!!! If the images are not suitable for a monitor, then it will be declined. Once again, if you get declined, please look to see if it is a proper size. You can find the resolutions posted on the home page.
NEW COFOUNDER:
I would like to introduce you to our latest new Co-Foudner "Peter Suominen" Lynxander
Peter is now onboard to help us and he is here to help you as the other Co-founders are. Please give him a warm welcome.

Expired submissions to the group
I haven't been around much, so there was some submissions that had expired. My apologies for that, but DA is very low on my list of priorities at present.
I'll try to catch the submissions in time, but no promises.

Closed submissions to Featured
I opened the Featured folder for submissions some time back, but it doesn't seem to be working and there's been little interest for it, so I changed it back. As far as I recall, I approved all submissions to Featured.
Guess I have to try to request works for it at some point, but I rarely do things like that :)
Well, it has been a slow summer for the group and submissions are down to a trickle.
If you have some folder wishes, let me know.

EDIT:
I was going through folder permissions and noticed they were messed up. Many folders were marked not to allow submissions. Sorry about that, I had not noticed it, but I can't fix things
New folder
I have added a new folder called "OS themes and Icons". You can submit things related to desktop themes there. Most wallpaper groups seem to have folders for them.
Another recent change is that you can now submit images to the "Featured" folder. Mature rated images still belong in the "Pinups and Mature Rated content" folder.
As you may have noticed, we lost Super Group status a few months ago. It didn't seem worth paying for, because you don't get much else than a more fancy looking journal.

Submissions to Featured now possible
As you may have noticed I haven't been very active running this group. I'm running it alone and I mostly just concentrate on accepting/declining submissions to the galleries. Wallpapers aren't really my thing as such, I just make a lot of my own images in wallpaper sizes/ratios so that it feels okay to post them in this group.
Making the images in my own gallery is very time consuming, not to mention all the 3D work I do not post at DA, and leaves me with limited time/energy/interest for administration of a group.
It looks like I might be pretty occupied this summer, so I may have troubles keeping up with the group. Remains to be seen.
